Platini announced name of Euro-2016 host
France has been selected the country to host Euro-2016, European football championship featuring 24-team finals for the first time.
UEFA President Michel Platini announced this decision in Geneva. At the request of France were included 12 stadiums. At the same time the French plan to rebuild four new arenas and stadiums of the seven required major reconstruction. Matches Euro 2016 will be held in 11 cities: Bordeaux, Lens, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nancy, Nice, Paris (Stade de France and Parc des Princes), Saint-Etienne, Strasbourg and Toulouse.
