The new terminal of the Kharkov airport will open on August 23

The new international terminal Kharkiv will be put into operation on August 23, the day of the city of Kharkiv.

On this April 21, told journalists coordinator of Kharkov to the finals of the European Football Championship in 2012 and the main investor Alexander Yaroslavsky.

Yaroslavsky assured that the construction of the terminal is already at the final stage, "there are only finishing work."

He added that the reconstruction of the runway the airport will be completed by November this year.

"As for the band, but this year 562 million UAH (70.25 million USD) - the main shock, and by November we also have to finish" - he stressed.

Yaroslavsky noted that the construction of the terminal is being financed solely by the "regular guy from Kharkov, and the runway - at the expense of state budget and major investor - a company of New Systems AM and holding DCH.

Earlier, UEFA President Michel Platini during his visit to Ukraine was satisfied with the pace of Kharkiv's preparations for the Euro 2012.
