Platini: Ukraine and Poland will be able to hold Euro-2012
UEFA President Michel Platini has once again expressed confidence that Ukraine and Poland will overcome difficulties and dignified conduct Euro-2012. And, as we have decided and promised Euro-2012 will be held in Ukraine and Poland. In June 2012, these countries will be organized an unforgettable football action "- said the president of UEFA. Four Ukrainian cities - Kiev, Donetsk, Lviv and Kharkiv - given the right to accept matches of European Football Championship in 2012. Final tournament will be held in the Ukrainian capital. In Poland the European championship games in 2012 will be held in Warsaw, Gdansk, Poznan and Wrozlaw. UEFA may withdraw from any of these cities the right to host the matches of Euro 2012 if the dates would be disrupted training facilities or not adhered standards.
